Megan and Daniel's Love Story
Once upon a time, in a magical land called Victoria, Megan and Daniel found themselves at the same party on July 1st, 2017. As Daniel stood in the kitchen talking to some friends, Megan looked at him from across the room. She turned to her friend and asked "who is that??" The friend quickly said "absolutely not, don't even think about it." For you see, young Daniel in 2017 had a reputation as a heartbreaker.
Naturally, this made Meg want to talk to Daniel all the more! So she walked into the kitchen and joined the conversation. Daniel was talking about how he was able to get free standby flights on Air Canada. Megan's opening line to Daniel was "Hi, I'm Megan - if we got married, could I have free flights too?"
And this conversation was the start of a beautiful friendship! For years, Megan and Daniel refused to admit they were interested in each other and insisted on being just friends. Until March 2020, when ye olde pandemic hit and Megan moved into Daniel's house. And eventually, they were forced to admit they were interested in each other. They finally started dating and fell madly in love. When they excitedly told friends that they were dating, their friends all replied with "yeah, we already know. About time you guys figured it out."
Over the past few years, Meg and Daniel have had the pleasure of moving many different times to many different cities (Victoria, Richmond, back to Victoria, Montreal, back to Victoria again). They finally bought their dream house out in the boonies of Sooke where they spend their days learning how to garden.
